A Montgomery County native with over a decade of courtroom experience - committed to equal justice, ethical leadership, and the community we call home.

Meet Richard Glennon

I'm not just running for judge in this community — I grew up here, I built my career here, and I'm deeply committed to the people of Montgomery County.

Protecting children & families

Dedicated work in the Child Protection Unit representing children in abuse, neglect, and dependency cases.

Ethical, responsible prosecution

A commitment to pursuing justice only where the evidence supports it — always with humility and integrity.

Equal application of the law

No one above the law. Everyone entitled to its protections. That principle guides every decision.

After earning my law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz School of Law in 2013, I returned home to serve as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office, where I've had the privilege of serving ever since.

Over the course of my career, I've worked in the Child Protection Unit, the Grand Jury Division, and the Criminal Division, which handles all adult felony offenses. For the last five years, I've served as a Trial Supervisor in the Criminal Division, overseeing four criminal dockets and mentoring newer attorneys.

My work is much more than a job, it's my vocation. I have prosecuted serious offenses including Murder, Vehicular Homicide, Felonious Assault, Aggravated Robbery, and Domestic Violence. Through every case, I have carried a deep awareness of the immense responsibility placed in my hands.

I have practiced before every sitting judge on the Montgomery Common Pleas bench, developing extensive knowledge of the law and a clear understanding of what this role demands. As your Common Pleas Judge, it will never be about me — I'm committed to the ideals I uphold and the community I serve.
